Opportunity - IMI Issues Call for Presentations for Drystack Conference |
![]() The International Marina Institute (IMI) has posted a “Call for Presentations” to its Web site for its Drystack Conference, October 24–26, 2010, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. IMI’s biannual event combines educational programs, exhibits, and networking opportunities for marina professionals who wish to learn about current drystack technology while meeting with leading managers, developers, and vendors. “We are asking for proposals for seminars on new developments in the dry-storage industry and the latest technologies that support the industry,” says Kayce Florio, IMI’s training coordinator. “It is important for us to hear from professionals in the industry so we can put together an educational program that addresses relevant issues and current trends.” IMI coordinators are seeking presentations pertinent to IMI’s audience, which includes internationally acclaimed marina-industry professionals, Certified Marina Managers, and marina managers, owners, and operators as well as companies that sell to and serve the marine industry. Presentations can be designed for all levels of experience—from fundamental and intermediate to advanced topics. IMI asks that the information be timely, informative, and educational without overt company or product promotions. Deadline for submissions is April 2, 2010. For more information please call 401-247-0314 or visit: www.marinaassociation.org/drystack. |
