Record-breaking Attendance at Hutchings 6th Annual Shirt Sleeves Training

The 6th annual Hutchings Marine Products Shirt Sleeve Training day was held at the Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre, Grace and Speed Museum on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 and the event attracted record attendance.

The Grace and Speed Museum on the water in beautiful Gravenhurst, Ontario makes an excellent and very appropriate venue for the event. The guests get to revel in the glories of the rich Muskoka marine heritage as they gather knowledge and information about the latest products and processes offered by Hutchings vendors.

From 8:30am to 4:00pm a series of five back-to-back seminars were the primary focus of the day. This year, 200 attendees had a full schedule of product knowledge and learning sessions while the exhibit area added another valuable element. Georgian College also brought some of their students to experience the day and the educational opportunities.

Partner Judy Semple was very pleased with their results. She said, "It was beyond our expectations. We got awesome attendance – the best year ever. With this as our 6th year, we are enjoying lots of presenter support and also great vendor support. Everyone on the Hutchings team did a great job on the organization and the execution of the event although I should especially say that Melissa did an outstanding job on the new products gathering an exciting portfolio of new items and door prizes.”

The event also helped to preview the new items in the 2010 Hutchings Marine Products catalog.
